It's always such a pleasure to rediscover someone great. A few weeks ago, I was reminded of one of the greatest comedians to ever grace the stage, Billy Connolly. I don't know why I hadn't spent more time diving into his wealth of work in the past, but now I'm watching everything he's done (including his fantastic travel tours of New Zealand, Scotland and The North-West Passage).
Not only are his performances fantastic for their dedication to the smaller occurrences in life, but Billy's spirit is so rich and positive that it makes me hope I can be that spry and outward even when I'm in my 60's. He's the beautifully-crazy guy I wish I had to dance through life with.
You can check out a great documentary on Billy, and his work, here.
